Agreement Acceptance

By accessing or using SynapBeam's budget analysis platform and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SynapBeam, a financial technology company operating from Seoul, South Korea. Your continued use of our platform indicates acceptance of any updates to these terms.

Capacity and Authority

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

Service Description and Scope

SynapBeam provides cloud-based budget analysis tools, financial reporting capabilities, and related financial management services. Our platform is designed to help individuals and businesses analyze their financial data and make informed budgeting decisions.

Service Limitations

• Our services do not constitute financial advice or investment recommendations
• We do not provide tax preparation, accounting, or legal services
• Analysis results are based on data you provide and should not be your sole basis for financial decisions
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice

Data Processing

You grant us the right to process, analyze, and store your financial data solely for the purpose of providing our services. We implement industry-standard security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security of transmitted data.

User Obligations and Responsibilities

As a user of our platform, you agree to provide accurate information and use our services in compliance with applicable laws and these terms.

Account Security

• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in activities that could harm our platform or other users, including but not limited to attempting to access unauthorized data, introducing malicious code, or using our services for illegal purposes.

Commercial use of our platform outside of your authorized subscription level requires written permission. Reselling, redistributing, or reverse-engineering our services is strictly prohibited.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, software, algorithms, and materials provided through our platform are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the exclusive property of SynapBeam or our licensors.

User Content License

While you retain ownership of your financial data, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and analyze this data to provide our services. This license terminates when you delete your data or close your account.

Trademark Usage

The SynapBeam name, logo, and related trademarks may not be used without our express written consent. Any unauthorized use may result in legal action and immediate termination of service.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

International Data Transfers

As our operations are based in South Korea, your data may be processed and stored in South Korea or other countries where we or our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Payment Terms and Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance according to your chosen plan. All fees are non-refundable except as explicitly stated in our refund policy or required by applicable law.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew for equivalent periods unless cancelled before the renewal date. We will charge your payment method on file for renewal fees unless you cancel your subscription through your account settings.

Payment Disputes

If you dispute any charges, contact us within 30 days of the billing date. We will investigate and respond promptly to legitimate disputes. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynapBeam's liability for any claims arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet all your requirements.

Consequential Damages

Under no circumstances will we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Termination and Suspension

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these terms or engage in activities that harm our platform or other users.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to our services will cease, and we may delete your data according to our retention policies. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution will survive termination.

You may export your data before termination using our available export tools. After account closure, we cannot guarantee the availability of your data for retrieval.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of South Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Seoul, South Korea.

Arbitration Process

Disputes will be resolved by a single arbitrator selected according to the rules of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. The arbitration will be conducted in English, and the decision will be final and binding.

Exceptions to Arbitration

Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent irreparable harm. Small claims court actions are also exempt from mandatory arbitration.

Modifications and Updates

We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through email or platform notifications.

Continued use of our services after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you disagree with the modifications, you may terminate your account before the new terms take effect.

Version Control

We maintain previous versions of our terms for reference. You can request copies of earlier versions by contacting our support team. The most current version is always available on our website.
